- Selection of successful applicants who are due to graduate or have graduated from the Nagoya University School of Science Biological Science program consists of a first (document) screening and second screening (oral examination).
- Selection of successful applicants other than applicants due to graduate or have graduated from the Nagoya University School of Science Biological Sciences program consists of a first (document) Screening and second screening (oral examination: as a rule, applicants who do not reside in Japan will be interviewed using a VoIP system on the Internet such as Zoom, etc.).
- Applicants who successfully pass the first (document) screening will also be informed via email of the date of the second (oral examination) screening by the graduate school to which they applied.
- Each of the selection methods 1. and 2. above will be conducted separately.

(The oral examination will include a presentation on the applicant’s master’s thesis or published papers equivalent to the thesis, and an oral examination.
