Dear colleague,

It is our great pleasure to announce the 1st Nagoya International Symposium on Neural Circuit, which will be held at Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, on March 24, 2014.

This is a kick-off symposium for Nagoya Research Center for Brain & Neural Circuits (Head: Ikue Mori), which was established in Sep, 2013, aiming to explore the basic principles of the brain and neural circuits. To achieve this goal, C. elegans, Drosophila, and zebrafish are the main model animals in this center.

The symposium will focus on experimental and theoretical approaches toward understanding the basic principles that drive our brain to work. The major aim of this symposium will be to share information and ideas that push the brain science forward.

We are looking forward to seeing you at Nagoya University in March!
