By the Nagoya University Medakafish group
Following is a list of phylogenetic trees that contain Oryzias species known to date.
TREE7 : Molecular phylogenetic tree of higher teleosts. This tree was based on data from complete mitochondrial DNA sequences.
Mol Phylogenet Evol. 2003 Jan;26(1):121-38.)
TREE6:@Evolutionary relationships between fish models. This tree was based on data from "Fishes of the
World" by J. S. Nelson. (after Wittbrodt et al. (2002) )
TREE5: Cellular DNA content of vertebrates by Venkatesh B, Gilligan P, Brenner S (2000). (see Fig. 1)
TREE4: Phylogenetic relationship of zebrafish, medaka and pufferfish by Nelson JS (1994) (cited by Ishikawa Y (2000)).
TREE3: a tree deduced from total evidence topology by J.S. Albert and K. Naruse (2000)
TREE2: a tree deduced from mitochondrial 12S ribosomal RNA gene sequences (1996)
TREE1: a tree deduced from mitochondrial cytochrome b (1993)
