Phylogenetic Tree of Papilio polytes



Fig. 3. The phylogenetic tree of Japanese representative species from each family of the superfamily Papilionoidea based on the sequences of the ND5 gene. The tree was constructed by the NJ method. Daimio tethys and Tagiades trebellius (Hesperioidea: Hesperiidae) were taken as an outgroup. The bootstrap value is shown at each branching point. The evolutionary distance calculated by Kimurafs (1980) twoparameter method is indicated.
