Dear colleague,

We are delighted to announce the 2nd Nagoya International Symposium on Neural Circuits, which will be held at Nagoya University on the coming September 9-10, 2014.

We established Nagoya Research Center for Brain & Neural Circuits (Head: Ikue Mori) in September, 2013. This Center aims to explore the basic principles of the brain and neural circuits with strong emphasis on the experimental and theoretical studies on small brain model organisms such as C. elegans, Drosophila and zebrafish.

As a kick-off symposium for the Center, the 1st Nagoya International Symposium was held in March 24, 2014, where we had wonderful talks by superb scientists and together experienced a rise of new neuroscience researches underlying circuit mechanisms.

In the 2nd Symposium, we again invited excellent neuroscientists who undertake a variety of approaches ranging from single molecule imaging to in vivo studies. Please do come to Nagoya to join us at the symposium in September!
