Creating a new systems biology

Appointing young researchers who are implementing Systems Biology research on new points of view as special-appoint associate professor or special-appoint assistant professor, we support their unique research. We provide them with research space, independent positions and research expenses.

Akiko SATO,
GCOE associate professor

Research of relationship between configuration and function of drosophila photoreceptor cell models
Takamasa SUZUKI,
GCOE assistant professor

Analyzing plant cytokinesis and cytodifferentiation/ Development of database and tools for Omics research
Lecture of the GCOE Program
Operation of Electronic Microscope Lecture and Practice of Bioinformatics

Collaborating with united advanced research system at Nagoya University, those diverse programs foster many young researchers who can take leading roles in the next generation of Systems Biology within 5 years of the GCOE Program termination.
